blowUP media are thrilled to announce the return of our beloved tradition, Ban the Lunch, for 2024. As many of you may remember, we first introduced this unique initiative in 2018, aiming to transform the traditional media lunch throughout Q1. We invited clients to engaging activities that not only break the mould but also leave a lasting impression. The overwhelming positive feedback and the evident boost to team morale made it an easy decision for us to bring Ban the Lunch back this year.
After the festive celebrations, the first few months of the year can feel gloomy, filled with routine and desk-bound days. We understand the challenges of spending long hours behind a desk, battling congested schedules, and the strain of continuous screen time. That’s precisely why Ban the Lunch is here to inject some excitement into your workday.
We want to clarify – we’re not against lunches; we’re all about fostering connections and socialising. Ban the Lunch is designed to encourage teams to step out of the office and venture into activities that push comfort zones. The aim is to return to work with a fresh perspective after engaging in something new such as Barry’s Bootcamp, a graffiti workshop or the Van Gogh VR experience.
Our vision is simple yet powerful: learn about each other’s personal interests, share enjoyable experiences, and build stronger relationships. There’s no better way to achieve this than by exploring new activities together. By doing so, we hope to gain valuable insights into your experiences and expectations for 2024, ensuring a successful year.
To round off this exciting initiative, we’re proud to introduce the ‘Get OOH Mini Marathon’ on March 21st! Join us on a 10-mile walk around iconic London landmarks and, of course, our unmissable Giant Posters. The journey kicks off in the vibrant heart of Shoreditch, takes you through the bustling city, and concludes in the scenic borough of Kensington.
We can’t wait to see you all for Ban the Lunch activities and witness the positive impact the initiative will have on our collective well-being. Let’s make 2024 a year filled with shared experiences, strengthened connections, and unparalleled success.
