blowUP media are excited to announce the return of its much-loved New Year tradition, “Ban the Lunch” in 2024! blowUP media will temporarily ban traditional media lunches and instead replace them with unique alternative activities.
Originating in 2018, Ban the Lunch became a celebrated blowUP media tradition, redefining the concept of media lunches. With overwhelmingly positive feedback, Ban the Lunch returned in 2019, with a focus on well-being-themed activities. The tradition continued successfully for a third consecutive year in 2020, until Covid hit, and all activities had to take place virtually.
Now after four years, blowUP media are thrilled to reintroduce Ban the Lunch, promising a bigger and better experience than ever before. This year, the theme is to ‘do more in 2024’ and try something new; by having a go at activities you have never done before. This could be trying your hand at a pottery-making class, or finally taking up golf by heading to the driving range!
In a world dominated by digital interactions and never-ending to-do lists, blowUP media believe in the value of face-to-face experiences. In previous years, lunches have been transformed into exercise classes, cultural events, West End shows, and even adventures such as the Crystal Maze. These initiatives have opened new avenues for unique interactions, giving both us and our clients the opportunity to step away from our desks and outside of our comfort zone to do something fun.
Ban the Lunch will commence from the beginning of January and extend throughout Q1. As a grand finale, blowUP media will host the Get OOH mini marathon —a 10-mile walk around some of Central London’s iconic landmarks and of course, banners! Stay tuned for more information.
