This corner eye-catcher is located on Alfredstrasse in Essen's trendy district of Rüttenscheid. The location is at a busy intersection and offers brands absolute visibility. With its numerous cafés, stores, bars, galleries and theaters, Rüttenscheid is a particularly lively district. The people here couldn't be more different: hipsters and suits, latte macchiato drinkers and beer lovers, cyclists and car drivers, shopping queens, art and culture fans (the Folkwang Museum, for example, is in the immediate vicinity), foodies and connoisseurs. Rüttenscheider Straße, or “Rü” for short, which runs parallel to the Giant Poster, is particularly popular because of its diversity. In addition to the trade fair, important companies such as E.ON, the Ruhrbahn or the municipal utility are also based here, which promises a lucrative target group of business people and decision-makers.
